As well as a cash prizes of up to $2k, winners of YiA get two weeks of work experience with leading businesses in the Bay, including BlueLab, Locus Research, Woods Creative and Cucumber to develop their ideas.
These businesses are all at the cutting edge of innovation – a two-week internship is truly an experience you can’t put a price tag on... but we will, it's a whopping $10,000.
Great grades are one thing but how do you stand out when everyone has A+’s? Our awards are judged by some of the world's great innovators including Nike's Innovation Developer Wade Flanagan who is flying in from Nike HQ, Portland for the 2017 awards. Having the winner of YiA on your CV will set you apart from the rest.
